Why am I here?  On Nonoba that is!  Because of Kongregate of course!  I found Starland on Kongregate.  I didnt like it at first.  In fact it was a good solid year after playing it the first time before I played it a 2nd time.  Now, I'm fully hooked!  So hooked I never (or hardly ever) play any of the over 43,000 free games that Kongregate has! 

Truth be known, Kongregate is a much better site ... better GUI ... better games ... its very structured ... much easier to find what you want ... and you get badges for the right reasons ... for doing well on the games.  Here on Nonoba, you get XP and move up in level for reasons that have nothing to do with your gaming prowess but rather for uploading an avatar, getting a rating of 10 on a comment you made (STOOPID) .... so so so so so so so stupid!  Really.  

But Im here, at least for the time being ... until I get this Starland out of my system anyway.

Oh and the chat?  Their chat system blows this away.  45,000 gamers on average...100s of chat rooms ... and they're always full ... ALWAYS.  As are the games .... Lots of people (43,000 to 45,000 at any given time) play on kongregate .... never will you have to wait to play a multi-player game .... never will you say to yourself "Wow, where is everybody?"  I find myself saying that all the time here!  

I do like the fact that there are a lot of multi-player games on Nonoba ... many of them old-skool, games we played as kids ... like crazy 8's, dominos, asteroids, tetris, battleship .... though any time Ive come on to play any of those games there was nobody to play with  :*( ...  im hoping someday i'll go to Crazy 8s and there will actually be someone there who wants to play!

The other thing is ... I've sure met a lot of great ppl on here ... funny ppl, happy ppl, friendly ppl ..... very pleaasant environment here ..... with a few exceptions of course .... but that's just life on the Internet ... one apple can ruin it all for everyone ..... You guys are great ..... look for me on Starland and occasionally lurking around Crazy 8s hoping someone will pop in!
