CHAT DOWN But Forums still here

The forum is spammed with useless threads because of the chat being down, it usually has much more varied topics.
It's currently spammed due to idiots finding the chat is down and going directly to the forum, ignoring all topics already posted and starting a thread of their own.
The reason the mods aren't deleting most of them is the hope some users notice it and choose to post in the original forum about this "Crisis."

Also, InB4 lock for being a repeating thread on 2 levels:
1. The forums are pointless
2. Complaining about people complaining about the broken chat.

I was hoping this thread was going to get deleted or ignored before anyone else replied to it... oh well.

Congratulations on finally joining Nonoba.
Since you became a member five days ago, the only thing "you" have chosen to talk about in the forums so far is this thread.

You should have named the title of this thread to reflect what you wrote in your third line: "What's the point of the forum?"

So, in case you missed the point of the forums on the main forum page, the forums are broken into three categories:

Games - Discuss games, strategies, and tips & tricks.
Nonoba - Discuss this website.
Off-Topic - Talk about whatever you want.
