What is it about Nonoba that you like

hmm it seems that when i first played on nonoba a few days ago, i was immediately drawn to it..fun games and excitement, new people, but, i wanna know, what is it thats makes u wanna ply, makes u want to keep plying, the people, the games themselves, or the fact that there is a mixture of messenger and game integration...but still...what is your opinion?

Hehe glad you decided to jump onto the forum bandwagon, Uzakai =P. Well, as much as the games are addicting (MP ASTEROIDS!!! Hails), the fact that it's a gaming community does draw you in, so I guess I'll have to go with the latter. Sure, the concept of gaming communities isn't new- there are 1000s upon 1000s of them on the interwebs. I really do admire how every game is integrated with the IM though, & how you can tell who's playing what. Now that's what I call a gaming community... where you can play games and instantly interract with users at the same time.

Also, there's just something about Nonoba that's... different. Sure the layout is not all that grand, and you can't really define this forum as a true forum, and yaddayadda... but still. I reckon this site will definitely go the distance! =D

Two words: multiplayer asteroids.

I've followed this game since the beginning (cogames.net) and it's no different now.

Nonoba in particular though...

This pretty much the primary multiplayer flash game place in my mind. It seems to be completely centered around the concept. Other places have the games, but they're usually not the main focus of the site. Needless to say, it's different here.

That and the promise of a certain API being released sometime... (mid december? gimme a break chris ;)

i've joined Nonoba since IAB was like "OMG SKISSA'S KOOL"... because I googled SKissa a while later in hopes of not having a guest- infront of my name. Then I discovered more fun games, but Skissa really hits the spot =3

When browsing around, I once found a game called 'Flash Sliders' on Jetztspielen.de and wondered where it came from. So, I have sent a question to the people that usually upload the suggested games, and they relied the day after. They have said the origin to be nonoba.com, and I immediately came here. I saw the different games on the front page, and played some. They were fun. I was looking around a bit and liked it so much that I registered.

Changing opinion:

I was Really impressed by the site the day I came here, but as I discover more features, I like this site more and more.
