Posting Comments

Here we go again. There are a few problems with posting comments at the moment.

1) One gets an error message or just a blank screen after trying to post a new thread or comment.

2) If one trusts that the message got sent there is a long delay of when the post might be posted (10 hours and counting on my last comment posted).

3) When a reply or comment to a current thread is made, the forum thread is not updated so no one has a clue that someone has added to the thread (unless they are following it or happen to click on it to read).

4) The updated thread does not get bumped up for viewing (understandable based on number 3).

By the way, a search to find a similar bug to comment on instead of starting this new one came up with a "Server Error" message.Pontuação de 0

Reject all friend request/Box near FR.

A button that can reject all friend requests ( Another user, to you. ). Or, friend requests with boxes near them, you can check to remove, and leave it alone to accept; Pressing a button, (Execute) will remove friend requests that are checked, and accept friend requests that are unchecked.Pontuação de 2

Popular Games of the Month

Why is the top nine "Popular Games of the Month" located at http://nonoba.com different than the list I find when I search for the most played games in the last 30 days at nonoba.com/games/mostplayed/all/last30days ?

I could only find http://nonoba.com/feedback/comments/209 to be similar to my question which was between 10 months ago and four years ago.

Front page games

There should be popular Player I/O games added to the mix. It would help to direct some users to multiplayer games that won't appear broken while the servers are being worked on.Pontuação de 6

Chats

Recently, the chats haven't been working in like 2-3 days now. I suddenly get in the chats, but after 5-10 minutes, i disconnect. Is there any major issue or just an update of the site which might take some time?Pontuação de 8

Forum/Chat Rules

Really, even with the existence of the terms of service, it's rather vague and too general on what users can do and cannot do.

I'm merely requesting that the moderators form a specific set of rules for the chatrooms and a specific set of rules for the forums. Upon formation of these rules, I'd asked they be approved by the admins. Finally, post said rules in a forum thread.

This will clear any confusion on what's allowed and what isn't. Also, users won't have to ask moderators. They'll be able to read them on their own.Pontuação de 7

Whole site Makeover.

I'm sugesting remaking the site from the very beginning, simply because the old look and movement is clumsy and outdated, I feel it's long been overdue and needs to happen fairly soon, especially with nonoba seeming to be half dead, I also would suggest some advertisement, or at least looking for more game developers bringing themselves over to nonoba, a fresh list of games would bring nonoba back in business.Pontuação de -3

Whenever the ad that starts with "ThinkPadE420s" appears at the top of the page every link seems to be displayed in black text instead of the normal blue. They all retain their :hover colours however.Pontuação de 7

An inbox update

Not sure if this is a feedback comment yet but I was just thinking about the inbox and was wondering if at all possible to have a draft section. I always think about what I have to say in inboxes and I am pretty terrible at writing things. I always have to open word and save it off the sight. If I could save it somewhere in my inbox it would be so much easier to go back and edit it and or check it before I send out the message. Also, the idea of a filing system for messages would be greatly appreciated. I currently have over 1000 messages in my inbox and even with the favorite bar engaged I still have over 90 favorite messages. Finding what I need when I need it is a pain. If there was some sort of system where you could drag and drop messages or even just keep messages instead of having to click around to find the one you are looking for that would be greatly appreciated. Deleted Forum Post

When a forum thread is bumped with a post, but then that post is deleted before you have a chance to read it, the thread is permanently marked as "unread", even when you open it several times.

The only way I've found to "fix" this is to click the "Mark all as read" button.Pontuação de 4

a really good idea for nonoba's update (if it is coming)

For the new update coming up,(i hope) maybe we should revise the CSS to make it look sleek and shiny- or make a CSS contest OR like a contribution section for nonoba for its backround, CSS,layout Etc.

Also maybe we can increase the security of nonoba for less reports/bugs- less work for the mods and admins!

And lastly, maybe we can enable the feature to enable the feature that the mods and admins have a complete log on the chatrooms on any text. (sorry if this feature already exists)Pontuação de -12

Email being treated as forums

The forum code works with private messages, but the "no HTML" tags does not, nor does the CSS style type.
I am writing this because someone requested css help and I tried to tell them how to look up the source code to get it, that failed because I referenced a HTML tag to end at.
Could you please fix it so that here, the forums, and the pm system operate the same, it would help greatly, thank you.Pontuação de -5
